Electric bike shop - sale and rent

i just saw this new electric bike shop not so far from the M-Point in Sihom. It's actually opposite the Mpoint mart in Sihom. Apparently they're selling electric bikes in many different sizes and they have them also for rent, and it seems that they also sell spare parts and recharge batteries. I didn't rent or buy something there, but I think it's worth a visit if you want to have a electric bike.

  1. Hello. I read your previous post when you bought your used electric bike and now ran into this one. I'm looking for an ebike and have been to a shop near That Luang that sells them where the owner told me that there is no paper work required, meaning no registration/license plate. A Lao friend told me the same and claimed that it was because they are "electric" and not in the same category as a "motor" vehicle. I was surprised. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of paperwork did you do when you bought yours? Thanks a lot for your time.

  2. No paperwork. I was told as well that there is no number plate and registration required, mainly because they dont have a procedure (yet).
